I discouraged her because it said it was for age 4 and up and I thought she was too old for Strawberry Shortcake. She just loves it. It is still difficult for her, but she is getting the hang of it and all of her 1st grade friends love it too. The babysitters really enjoy it too. There is no way she could have done this at 4. I would not buy this for kids younger than 6. You will be disappointed. Buy the younger kids the Smart Cycle. It is a blast and they get some exercise!! ...more

We don't have any game systems so bought this plug-and-play for our 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son for Christmas. It has been so much fun, for the whole family! They can start at 2 step to get used to it, then move up to 3 and 4 step. The songs are upbeat and fun and there are 20 to choose from. The batteries last about 6 hours (we are on our third set of batteries already, which shows how much we like it).
